SWAIR reaches new Milestone: Factory Acceptance Test

Our project SWAIR has successfully reached a new milestone, Factory Acceptance Test (FAT), which marks the completion of the system implementation, integration and verification stage.

SWAIR is a product for the worldwide aviation sector, aiming to increase safety when using GNSS-based landing procedures, by delivering local-level operational monitoring, discontinuities forecast and performance assessment of GNSS signals and Space Weather data.

SWAIR is co-funded by ESA – European Space Agency and developed in partnership with the University of Coimbra and Bluecover Technologies.

Congratulations to the whole team once again!

Next up, the team will start preparations for the Pilot phase (Pre-Operational Demonstration), during which SWAIR will be deployed and used at several Portuguese airports.
